Who can be Accredited?
IAR provides accreditations to conformity assessment bodies (CAB). These bodies consist of certification, laboratories, education and inspection bodies, providers of certification, proficiency tests, and reference material producers.
A CAB may be accredited by IAR if it meets the requirements of the corresponding international standards:
- Certification Bodies: Management Systems ISO/IEC 17021
- For Persons: ISO/IEC 17024
- For Products: ISO/IEC 17065
- LaboratoriesTesting & Calibration Laboratories: ISO/IEC 17025
- Inspection Bodies: ISO/IEC 17020
- Education: Guidance Document and Accreditation Standard for Educational Institutions
